BIO

Zane Landin identifies as Hispanic, queer and disabled, and is a champion for these communities and intersectionality through entrepreneurship, writing and activism. Zane is a multi-award winner for his advocacy, named on the prestigious D-30 Disability Impact List 2022, and has extensive experience as a speaker, on National Advisory Boards and Councils. Zane is a proud first generation graduate, recently achieving a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Public Relations from Cal Poly Pomona, and is passionate about improving accessibility in education for diverse individuals. This passion has extended to workplaces and the promotion of disability inclusion and digital accessibility, which he often believes can be an afterthought. Zane has enjoyed and gained extensive skills and insights as a 'serial intern', with notable internships at USAID, NASA and General Motors to name a few.  

Zane attended the first-ever Mental Health Youth Action Forum in Washington D.C. where he met President Biden, Selena Gomez, Dr. Murthy, and Dr. Biden. Out of hundreds of applications, Zane was one of the 30 young advocates across the country who were selected to advocate for mental health at the White House in 2022. He is a passionate storyteller who writes for a range of publications including the Power of Positivity and Entrepreneur about wellness, psychology, and culture. He has been featured on over 30 platforms like Seek the Joy Podcast, Forbes, and Coming from the Heart Podcast.

As a positive change maker, Zane has channelled his energy into elevating other lived experience voices alongside his own. He is the founder of PositiveVibes Magazine, which is a digital magazine dedicated to telling authentic stories about mental health, wellness, and inspiration. 
 
Zane is driven by storytelling and how we can leverage powerful stories to create a more inclusive world for all to thrive.
