HEALTH CHAMPION MOVEMENT

Champion Health Agency is beyond a social enterprise, or a point in time. We are the vessel for a much greater social movement - the Health Champion Movement - to empower people with disability, chronic illness and carers to have a voice as change-leaders to truly action, imbed and facilitate "nothing about us without us". 

Pillars of this movement include:

  • Improving equity for people with chronic illness, disability and carers

  • Dissembling ableist systems

  • Investment into active, consumer-led change

  • Embedding voices of those with disability, chronic illness and carers across sectors

  • Valuing the voice of lived experience professionally

Tier 1: Become an Ally

Are you an individual or organisation who wants to provide your 'endorsement' for our social movement?

By becoming an Ally of Champion Health Agency and the Health Champion movement, you are demonstrating to our stakeholders that this is a social movement to listen to - and encouraging a commitment towards valuing and implementing change that is led by people with disabilities, chronic illnesses and carers.

Tier 2: Become an Advocate

Are you an individual or organisation who wants to know when they can get involved to create change with us?

By becoming an Advocate with Champion Health Agency and the Health Champion​ movement, you are demonstrating to our stakeholders that this is a social movement to listen to - and encouraging a commitment towards valuing and implementing change that is led by people with disabilities, chronic illnesses and carers (same as an Ally). What makes this Tier unique, is that you are added to our opportunity list to be notified of ways to get involved as they may arise.

Tier 3: Become a Partner

Are you wanting to bring the social movement into action, and be part of making this vision tangible? 

By becoming a Partner of Champion Health Agency and the Health Champion​ movement, you are actively engaging in this social mission by being a part of making it happen. Through a partnership agreement, CHA and the consumers we represent (as well as engaging people with disability beyond who we represent) can work with your organisation towards mutually beneficial, transformative change.
