BIO
Darcy Clews is an enthusiastic young disability and mental health advocate, passionate to create a society where everyone feels included, heard, understood and accepted - whether they have a disability or not. Darcy wants to use his lived experience to encourage people to be themselves without fear of judgement and have confidence in who they are. Born with Cerebral Palsy, Darcy has faced many trials and tribulations throughout his life, and wants to shed light on these experiences to make a positive difference, and show others that they are not alone even if their challenges may look different. Darcy represented Queensland in Powerchair Football, is a skilled player and 'very competitive'. Darcy is energetic, funny, open minded and loves having deep conversations.
